History
Back to the Bible was founded in Lincoln, Nebraska USA, by Mr. Theodore Epp in 1939, with broadcasts over one radio station. Today, the broadcast produces over 70 programs in 25 languages spoken by 56% of the world's population. In addition to its radio broadcasts, it uses the Internet, TV and other media to share the Gospel message.
Forty years ago, BTTB began its Caribbean outreach by establishing an office in Jamaica under its first Managing Director Mr. Leonard Bewick. His wife, Irene had a popular weekly column in the Jamaican Daily Gleaner newspaper entitled "for the Thoughtful Reader", which was dedicated to topics of Christian walk and conduct.

The office was located at Moorlands in Manchester, Jamaica. In May 1959 the offices were relocated to 6 Hope Road in Kingston Jamaica and in January 1966 to its present location at 10 Hagley Park Plaza.
The Bewicks returned to the United States in 1970, and Mr. Tom Northen, another American Missionary, conducted the Caribbean office until 1971. In 1972, Mr. Horace Campbell became our first local Managing Director. He continued in this position until 1977 when he emigrated to the United States and served for a time at the Head Offices in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mr. Campbell was succeeded by Mr. Oswald Easy, Mr. Donahue Collash and Wilfred James. Our current Interim Director is Donahue Collash.
